  • You monitor cloud accounts, infrastructure, application environments, and services using observability and monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch and/or Grafana
  • You take ownership of operations by participating in on-call rotations, responding to incidents, conducting root cause analyses, and troubleshooting complex operational issues (2nd/3rd-level support) to ensure reliable service levels and adherence to SLAs and SLOs
  • You perform release deployments, rollout activities, and migration processes to ensure reliable and auditable delivery of IT systems and applications
  • You define and implement security- and reliability-related measures in line with IT security and operational policies, guidelines, and broader regulatory requirements
  • You work as part of the team and collaborate closely on cloud infrastructure, software architecture, IT security, technical operations, and technical support tasks
  • You share knowledge by delivering technical demos, maintaining documentation, conducting pair programming, and knowledge transfer sessions with your teammates

Requirements

  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Advanced knowledge of Terraform and 2+ years of experience using it with AWS cloud
  • Automation mindset: Advanced experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests) to ensure software quality and reliable deployments. Experience with GitHub Actions is a plus
  • Observability know-how: Advanced hands-on experience with observability and monitoring for cloud-native applications and IT systems, using AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar tools
  • Programming languages: Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Bash and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Network and security: Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, TLS/SSL, WebSocket, DNS, and familiarity with security concepts including IAM, RBAC, Least Privilege, and Zero Trust
  • Team-player attitude: Experience working in agile software development environments and cross-functional teams
  • Language proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English is required. German proficiency at B1 level or above is considered
  • You think and act with the customers' perspective in mind and want to enhance their experience with us
