Manager, Finance Planning, Performance & Close, SAP Analytics+

The SAP Analytics+ team is organised around three core delivery pillars:

• Finance Planning, Performance & Close
• Data Platform Modernisation
• Analytics & AI

There is an opportunity for you to join and help develop our SAP Analytics+ team, specifically focusing on SAP-enabled financial planning, performance management, consolidation and close. We expect you to have deep, hands-on expertise in using one or more of:

• SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, including predictive and workforce planning
• SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, Group Data Analysis and Fiori reporting
• SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) and SAP BCS
• Financial close, consolidation and statutory / regulatory reporting
• Disclosure management - SAP Disclosure Management, Workiva
• AI-assisted forecasting and close, and the SAP Autonomous Finance direction

In your role we expect excellent knowledge of financial planning, performance management and close, the SAP solutions that enable it and the industries we serve. You will lead client conversations to understand client pain points, translate them into good-practice solutions, and communicate clearly at all levels of a client's finance, business and IT organisations., As a Manager in Finance Planning, Performance & Close, your role will involve:

• Leading workstreams and small engagements end to end - scope, design, build, test and go-live.
• Managing project teams, including guidance, feedback and the development of junior colleagues.
• Running client discovery, requirements and design workshops, and advising on solution and vendor selection.
• Designing robust planning, consolidation and close solutions.
• Assisting and leading the development of client bids and proposals.
• Building the practice - capability, reusable assets and recruitment.
• As a Senior Manager, owning delivery quality and commercial performance across an engagement and shaping the go-to-market for Finance Planning, Performance & Close.

• Deep, hands-on expertise across the pillar lifecycle, having led delivery on three or more (four or more at Senior Manager) full implementation lifecycles.
• Strong, hands-on command of SAP planning and close technologies - SAC Planning, S/4HANA Group Reporting and BPC/BCS - and of the financial close and consolidation process.
• Experience managing teams and holding client relationships at peer level.
• Demonstrated support for, or leadership of, client bids and proposals.
• The ability to translate technical information for a range of audiences, and excellent written and oral communication.
• Consistent high-quality personal and professional standards.

Additional desirable experience includes:

• Qualified / part-qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA.
• SAP certification in SAC Planning, S/4HANA Group Reporting or BPC.
• Experience of SAP Disclosure Management or Workiva.
• S/4HANA finance transformation experience.
