Requirements
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining Drupal-based websites supporting large-scale government and enterprise systems.
- Expertise in building and customizing Drupal modules, themes, content types, taxonomies, and views.
- Strong command of semantic HTML5, WCAG 2.1 AA standards, and web accessibility best practices.
- Deep knowledge of CSS and modern styling techniques, including Flexbox, CSS Grid, responsive design, and maintainable theming following methodologies like BEM.
- Solid skills in modern JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, event handling, and integration with Drupal's JavaScript layer.
- Extensive Drupal site administration, configuration management, and experience with content workflows.
- Frontend development skills including Twig templating, responsive design, and component-based theming.
- Familiarity with multi-site/domain management, security protocols, and DevOps practices including Git, Composer, and Drush.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Strong SCSS/SASS skills, advanced CSS methodologies, and experience with CSS transitions and animations.
- Exposure to frontend frameworks like React or Vue, especially for decoupled Drupal projects.
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Gulp.
- Knowledge of multi-domain configurations and integrations with REST APIs, analytics, and third-party services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Acquia Cloud, and multi-database routing.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated success in developing, supporting, and modernizing complex website environments, ideally within government or enterprise contexts.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong commitment to web security, accessibility compliance, and best practices.
- Occasional after-hours work and deployment support as needed.
