Data Analyst for automotive

Digital Solutions team works to develop the most promising systems and applications for the IDIADA group and their clients, focusing on the continuous improvement of engineering processes and the exploitation of data and information. What are we are looking for?

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the PMO team in monitoring and improving the performance of projects through data-driven insights. In this role, you will act as a bridge between the PMO and Digital Solutions teams, leveraging data from multiple applications and databases to provide a clear and reliable view of project status.

Your focus will be on analyzing, consolidating, and visualizing information to support decision-making, identify risks, and improve overall project governance. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable analytics solutions, enabling greater visibility and consistency across projects.

• Support the PMO in tracking and analyzing project status, progress, and performance indicators
• Consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources (project management tools, engineering systems, internal databases)
• Act as a liaison between PMO and Digital Solutions teams to align data availability and analytical needs
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility of project KPIs, timelines, and risks
• Ensure data consistency and reliability across different systems and reporting layers
• Identify patterns, trends, and potential risks in project execution through data analysis
• Support decision-making by delivering structured insights and recommendations
• Define and document data requirements and reporting standards with stakeholders
• Contribute to improving data models and structuring information to enhance analytics capabilities
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and data quality

• Experience in data analysis and reporting, using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar
• Strong ability to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources, including project management tools, internal systems, and databases
• Basic understanding of data processing and transformation (e.g., SQL, Python, or ETL concepts) to support data preparation and structuring
• Familiarity with data models and data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with databases and cloud environments (AWS or similar is a plus)
• Solid understanding of data quality, consistency, and validation best practices
• Strong collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional environments (PMO, Digital Solutions, engineering teams)
• Ability to translate business needs into clear analytical insights and actionable reporting
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency
• Experience identifying trends, risks, and performance issues through data analysis
• Interest in AI/ML technologies and their practical application in analytics
• Experience leveraging AI assistants (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to enhance productivity and analytical workflows

Education

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar.

Languages

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Catalan is a plus
