Senior Java Developer - W2 only

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications while contributing to technical design and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise Java applications.
• Build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Review code, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 8, 11, 17, or newer.
• Extensive experience with:
• Spring Boot
• Spring MVC
• Spring Security
• Spring Data JPA
• Experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Strong SQL development and database optimization skills.
• Experience with Git and Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of Redis or distributed caching solutions.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Experience implementing OAuth2, JWT, and SAML authentication.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Exposure to serverless technologies.
