Job description

The Salesforce Data Analyst is an analytical, detail-oriented role which bridges the gap between our business operations and our data ecosystem. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, building actionable reports and dashboards, analyzing revenue and sales trends, and providing data-driven insights that empower executive leadership and revenue teams to make smarter decisions.

Support & SLA Management

  • Queue Management: Monitor and manage incoming data, report, and dashboard requests submitted through the Internal Support Case queue.
  • SLA Compliance: Review, prioritize, and resolve all support tickets within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes.
  • End-User Prioritization: Treat end-user operational issues and reporting blockers as top-priority cases to minimize business downtime and support daily operations.
  • Data Loads: Manage and handle data loads

Data Governance & Integrity

  • Establish and execute routine data auditing, cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment workflows across Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and design automated validation rules and processes to maintain high data standards.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce reports, dashboards, and Analytics (Tableau and/or Power BI) dashboards.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear analytical frameworks, KPIs, and visual metrics.

Process & System Optimization

  • Partner with Salesforce Administrators and Developers to map data schemas, object relationships, and integration requirements.
  • Identify bottlenecks in sales, marketing, and customer support workflows using empirical data and recommend process enhancements.
  • Support data migration, integration testing, and third-party app management (e.g., ERP systems).

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ad-hoc revenue operations and data requests from sales, marketing, and executive teams.
  • Document data definitions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and data dictionaries.
  • Provide end-user training to teams on how to navigate dashboards and interpret key reports.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, Revenue Operations Analyst, or Business Analyst with a heavy focus on Salesforce.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Deep proficiency in Salesforce reporting, standard/custom objects, SOQL/SOSL queries, and data manipulation tools (Data Loader, Workbench).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for data extraction and querying.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau or Power BI).
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros/VBA).
  • Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to turn raw CRM data into actionable insights and executive-level narratives., * Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Data Architecture & Management Designer.
  • Integrations: Experience with ETL tools and data warehouses (e.g., Data Cloud/360).
  • Methodologies: Understanding of Agile/Scrum project management environments.
