Job description
- Install and improve customer-specific functional test stations and programs, including flying probe, ICT, and functional test fixtures
- Act as an extension of Customer Focus Teams (CFTs), supporting manufacturing execution based on customer requirements
- Program and maintain flying probe testers; develop tester documentation and procedures
- Lead failure analysis: replicate failures, troubleshoot root cause, validate across the failing population, and recommend solutions
- Perform circuit analysis of analog, digital, and RF circuits to support test technicians on debug
- Deliver sustaining engineering, tester capacity analysis, and manufacturing improvement presentations
- Follow ESD/MSD handling and NEOTech's ISO quality, safety, and 6S standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing/test environment
- Knowledge of Flying Probe, ICT, Boundary Scan, and functional test methodologies at board and system level
- Ability to train to IPC-A-610
- General knowledge of SMT and Box-Build manufacturing
- Exposure to PCB layout principles, CAD/PCB viewer tools, and common electronic manufacturing documentation
- Programming exposure in languages/platforms such as C++, C#, Java, Perl, AutoIt, Python, or LabVIEW
- Effective use of lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, signal generators/analyzers, meters, PLD programmers
- Methodical, independent troubleshooting skills
