Data Processing Analyst

This position is responsible for analyzing, standardizing, converting, and processing mailing lists, which include targeted, saturated and customer supplied data, for direct mail projects, through sophisticated Postalsoft software products. Familiarity with Direct Mail processes such as merge/purge, postal qualification and personalization required. Also consults with internal and external customers on requirements for all List Data services.

Essential Job Functions:

· Manipulate, convert and prepare data with customers provided formats.

· Perform file segmentation/splits based on supplied specifications.

· Use direct mail software application utilities to standardize, enhance, merge/purge mail files.

· Follows effective quality control procedures to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of address data.

· Meet and exceed production schedule for list processing.

· Interact with customer service, customers, sales and overall plant operations.

· On call for all data created in production issues

· Must have a minimum of (2) years training and/or experience involving large database sets..

· Must have a strong understanding of file formats and conversion utilities

· Must have advanced knowledge of Access, Excel, Word, Windows.

· Must be willing to learn new software and Postal Regulations.

· Basics understanding of program structure and development

· Customer service experience involving problem solving and complaint resolution preferred.
