Job description

  • Collaborate with teammates to develop, enhance, and support multiple applications across the organization
  • Work within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions
  • Communicate ideas clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presenting solutions in an easily understandable way
  • Partner with customers, solution architects, and peers to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain technical solutions
  • Build a foundational understanding of the business processes behind each solution to ensure alignment with operational needs
  • Support teammates by helping implement technical solutions and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
  • Front-end development experience with modern frameworks, such as Typescript (Angular, React, or similar), CSS (Bootstrap, Font Awesome, or similar), JavaScript (AngularJS, jQuery, or similar)
  • Back-end development experience with technologies and frameworks such as: Java, Python, .Net, MVC Frameworks, ORM's Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Pytest, XUnit or similar)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract, * Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate oral/written communication skills
  • Proficiency in analysis and problem-solving
  • Experience w/ relational database management systems such as Oracle, MariaDB (MySQL), and/or SQL Server
  • Agile software development and CI/CD experience
  • Working knowledge of Object-Oriented design patterns, cloud-native architecture and database automation (eg Liquibase, EF Core Management or similar), Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
