UI/UX Engineer

• Create intuitive user experiences by transforming concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Facilitate digital product development through research, conception, ideation, prototyping, and supporting user testing of digital product experiences.
• Identify design problems and devise user-centric solutions.
• Present designs to stakeholders and non-technical audiences. Advocate for the user and human-centered design methods among clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with UX researchers, product leads, engineers, scrum master's and program stakeholders to create and implement a shared product vision.
• Ask intelligent inquiries, take calculated risks, and champion innovative concepts.
• Implement the U.S. Digital Service Playbook and U.S. Web Design Standards' guiding principles.

• At least eight years of experience as a UX designer on product teams in a professional environment
• Experience designing solutions within complex service environments
• Proficient in UX/UI prototyping tools (preferably Figma).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Knowledge of Web Accessibility Standards and (preferably Section 508 experience)
• Ability to work independently and produce excellent results despite technical limitations and time constraints
• A portfolio to showcase a sharp eye for detail, robust design process, and visual aesthetics.
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in government, healthcare and/or insurance domains
• Familiarity with Pega design systems
• Experience with CMS Marketplace eligibility and appeal processing
• Experience with contact center operations
• Experience with case management workflows, * Bachelor's Degree or Higher
