Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Network Engineer to join our innovative IT team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to a resilient, scalable, and secure IT environment., * Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-wide network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and data center networks.
- Configure and support network hardware such as Cisco routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Meraki devices, and Juniper equipment to ensure reliable connectivity.
- Implement and maintain network security measures including Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), firewalls, and encryption protocols.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues related to network hardware, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), network switching, load balancing, and high availability configurations.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform system design improvements to enhance overall network security posture.
- Manage network configuration backups, system updates, and patch management using automation tools like Ansible or scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Support remote access solutions via SSH, VPN configuration, remote access software, and cloud security platforms like AWS or Azure for secure connectivity across distributed locations.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts including IP networking, TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, SFTP/FTP/SNMP/SSL/TLS protocols.
- Proven experience with Cisco IOS/ASA/Meraki devices; familiarity with Juniper or other networking hardware is a plus.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP; experience with MPLS networks preferred.
- Hands-on experience with network security tools like Cisco ISE, IDS/IPS systems, VPN management (IPsec), firewall configuration and cloud security solutions.
- Proficiency in system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows Server environments (Active Directory), Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian), UNIX variants (Solaris/BSD).
- Ability to perform equipment troubleshooting and support network installation projects in data centers or enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Citrix; scripting skills in PowerShell or Shell Scripting are advantageous.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including automation with Ansible; experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or PRTG is beneficial.

Pay: $88,904.95 - $107,068.34 per year
