Job description

We are seeking a Senior Mobile UI/UX Designer to design Perfecti for iOS and Android. You will own the design process from user flows and wireframes through high-fidelity screens, interactive prototypes, design systems, and developer handoff.

All work must be created and maintained in our company-owned Figma workspace. The ideal candidate combines strong mobile UX judgment, polished visual design, organized Figma practices, and experience supporting developers through implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end mobile design process from requirements through implementation.
  • Translate product requirements into user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens.
  • Create responsive designs for multiple iPhone, iPad, and Android screen sizes.
  • Build and maintain a scalable Figma design system using components, variants, variables, styles, and Auto Layout.
  • Create interactive prototypes that demonstrate navigation, interactions, transitions, and expected behavior.
  • Design onboarding, authentication, freemium, subscription, upgrade, account-management, and cancellation experiences.
  • Design loading, empty, error, offline, disabled, validation, permission, and success states.
  • Apply Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design conventions.
  • Incorporate accessibility standards for color contrast, typography, touch targets, navigation, and assistive technology.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing when required.
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders and Flutter developers to confirm feasibility and refine requirements.
  • Prepare developer-ready specifications, annotations, components, icons, and production assets.
  • Review implemented screens and document differences from approved designs.
  • Organize and name Figma pages, frames, layers, components, and versions consistently.
  • Communicate progress, design decisions, risks, and open questions clearly., * Published Mobile Work: Provide links to at least two mobile applications you personally helped design that are currently available in the Apple App Store or Google Play. For each application, identify the screens and user flows you designed, your exact responsibilities, and whether you remained involved through launch.
  • Figma Proficiency: Provide a view-only link to a Figma project demonstrating your use of Auto Layout, components, variants, variables, design libraries, interactive prototypes, and developer handoff. Explain how the file is organized and which portions you personally created.
  • iOS and Android Experience: Describe a design you changed because iOS and Android use different platform conventions. What did you change, why did you change it, and how did you document the differences for developers?
  • Freemium and Developer Handoff: Describe a freemium, trial, subscription, or paywall experience you designed. Explain the user flow, purchase and cancellation states, accessibility considerations, developer handoff process, and any usability or conversion results.

Requirements

  • Professional experience designing production mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variants, variables, libraries, prototyping, Dev Mode, and version history.
  • Portfolio demonstrating complete mobile products, user flows, design systems, edge cases, and interactive prototypes.
  • Experience taking a mobile product from requirements through developer handoff and launch.
  • Strong understanding of user experience, interaction design, information architecture, visual hierarchy, and responsive mobile layouts.
  • Knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design.
  • Experience designing freemium products, subscriptions, free trials, paywalls, and in-app-purchase experiences.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive mobile design.
  • Experience creating reusable design systems and component libraries.
  • Ability to design for real-world conditions, including slow connections, offline use, errors, permissions, and incomplete data.
  • Experience collaborating with mobile developers and reviewing implemented designs.
  • Ability to explain design decisions using user needs, business objectives, and usability principles.
  • Strong communication, organization, estimation, and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Flutter implementation constraints is preferred.
  • Experience with usability testing, analytics, and conversion optimization is preferred.
  • Motion and microinteraction design experience is a plus.

Applicants must provide links to relevant mobile applications and a view-only Figma project demonstrating organized components, Auto Layout, variables, prototypes, screen states, and developer handoff.
