Job description
Express Employment Professionals of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on IT support for two nearby facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting technology issues, supporting end users, and working in a dynamic manufacturing or business environment.
As the primary on-site IT support resource, you'll ensure employees have the tools and technical support they need to stay productive while partnering with corporate IT on larger initiatives., * Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, phones, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and basic network connectivity issues.
- Set up new employees with computers, user accounts, software, and system access.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software.
- Diagnose and resolve day-to-day technical issues both remotely and in person.
- Maintain inventory of computers, peripherals, and IT equipment.
- Document, prioritize, and close IT support tickets in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with corporate IT teams and third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Travel between two facilities located just minutes apart to provide on-site support.
- Follow company IT security policies and best practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an IT Support Specialist, Desktop Support Technician, Help Desk Technician, Systems Support Specialist, or Technical Support Analyst.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows PCs, laptops, printers, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and common business applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including printers, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, and user connectivity.
- Experience with Active Directory, user account administration, and hardware setup is a plus.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple support requests while working independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between local facilities.
