Software Developer (Onsite)

In this role, you will be joining a talented team of software engineers who are designing and developing a reusable software foundation to build satellite command and control software. This position is an onsite role in Aurora, CO

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain reusable ground system software.
• Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.

What You Will Learn

• Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
• Software lifecycle practices for defense projects.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Security Clearance Type: TS/SCI without Polygraph, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience

• Experience developing software using C++ and Python.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience developing software using Java.
• Knowledge of Agile software development.
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, and Git.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
