Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Program Support Analyst to join our team in Manhattan, KS. This role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly by supporting administrators and program managers through a variety of advanced administrative and programmatic tasks. The ideal candidate will combine strong organizational skills with independent judgment, professional communication, and the ability to manage complex schedules and tasks., * Support administrators and professionals by organizing meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining filing systems (electronic and physical)
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact
- Prepare, edit, and distribute memos, invoices, reports, and other correspondence
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
- Collate and distribute incoming mail; manage outgoing correspondence
- Maintain accurate records and assist with bookkeeping, billing, and general accounting functions
- Write and edit a range of communications, from formal letters and reports to instructional documents
- Manage accounts and assist with accounts payable/receivable as needed
- Learn new computer programs and adapt to changing technology requirements; proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 is required
Requirements
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (required)
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, program support assistant, or in a similar support role
- Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
- Strong professional writing and editing abilities
- Effective verbal communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Aptitude for mathematics and experience with basic bookkeeping/accounting tasks
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting executives or program managers in a federal contracting or government environment
- Familiarity with federal administrative processes and compliance standards
