Senior Salesforce Integration Engineer

The business converts approximately 90% of the leads it successfully connects with, making speed to lead critical. The goal is to use Salesforce as the conductor to automatically coordinate communication technologies and help sales representatives connect with new leads as quickly as possible.

Success means more leads reached, faster engagement, higher conversion, and increased revenue.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop an integrated communications ecosystem with Salesforce as the central orchestration layer.

• Build complex integrations supporting telephony, SMS, call cadence, and automated customer outreach.

• Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex and related Salesforce technologies.

• Engineer integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, webhooks, platform events, middleware, and asynchronous processing.

• Design workflows that coordinate lead activity and communication across multiple platforms.

• Solve integration, scalability, reliability, data synchronization, and performance challenges.

• Troubleshoot complex issues across Salesforce and connected systems.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture and production solutions.

• Advanced hands on Apex development experience.

• Proven experience architecting and building complex Salesforce integrations.

• Strong experience with APIs, webhooks, authentication, asynchronous processing, and event driven architecture.

• Experience integrating telephony, CTI, SMS, dialers, call cadence, or customer engagement technologies.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, data flows, scalability, and system reliability.

• Ability to independently determine how multiple technologies should be engineered together to solve a business problem.

Relevant Technology Experience

Experience may include Twilio, Five9, Genesys, Amazon Connect, RingCentral, Dialpad, Vonage, Talkdesk, Salesloft, Outreach, Salesforce CTI, or comparable communication and integration technologies.

Candidates do not need experience with every platform listed. We are looking for engineers who have demonstrated the ability to architect and build complex integrated systems around Salesforce.
