Job description

The AI Strategy, Acceleration and Program team is seeking a temporary consultant to create practical, easy-to-use documentation and knowledge resources for enterprise AI enablement. The role is best suited for a hands-on technical writer with an IT background who can organize ambiguous inputs and collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders., * Design, build, and maintain SharePoint and Confluence pages for AI enablement and governance work, including logical navigation, page structures, templates, and content organization.

  • Create and edit procedures, process guides, playbooks, FAQs, checklists, decision trees, and other reference materials for varied business and technical audiences.
  • Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, swimlanes, stakeholder-engagement maps, and operating-model visuals that clarify roles, handoffs, approvals, and escalation paths.
  • Gather information through stakeholder interviews and working sessions, identify documentation gaps or inconsistencies, and validate content with subject-matter experts.
  • Improve consistency across materials by applying common terminology, formatting, version-control practices, and content-review routines.
  • Partner with business, technology, data, risk, compliance, legal, and governance stakeholders to turn evolving requirements into usable, implementation-ready artifacts.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, IT documentation, knowledge management, business analysis, process design, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining content in SharePoint and Confluence.

  • Demonstrated ability to create clear procedures, process maps, and visual documentation for complex workflows.

  • Working knowledge of enterprise technology environments and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Strong writing, editing, interviewing, synthesis, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Proficiency with tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Word, or comparable diagramming and documentation platforms. Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience documenting AI, data, technology governance, risk, compliance, or other emerging-technology processes.

  • Experience with Jira or similar work-management tools; financial-services or other regulated-industry experience is a plus
