- Partner with the product managers and engineers in design and implementation of product enhancements and bug fixes
- Drive architectural decisions and best practices across multiple teams
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Collaborate with product management, design, and other engineering teams to define and execute the product roadmap
- Conduct complex code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high code quality
- Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks
- Serve as a technical point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders
- Work as part of a globally distributed engineering team in a fast-paced environment with ambitious goals
Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our growing team. This role is critical for providing technical leadership, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring senior engineers within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of complex software systems, a track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions, and excellent communication skills., * Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 8+ years of experience OR Master's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, C++) with the ability to quickly ramp up and contribute to a large polyglot codebase
- Experience with scalability, security, high-availability, software maintenance, and patching
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to solving complex challenges
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, applying them effectively during collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in the production software development lifecycle, including rigorous testing methodologies (unit, functional, integration), performance engineering, and debugging
- Deep understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI coding assistants
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)

Benefits & conditions
The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000 - $192,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
