Software Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer to support a leading healthcare organization in Richmond, VA (hybrid schedule). This individual must have 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, Azure, SQL Server, and REST APIs. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based applications, APIs, and database solutions while troubleshooting production issues and participating in Agile development efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver with experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. The pay for this role ranges from $49-$50.48/hour, based on experience.

*2+ years of software engineering experience

*Strong experience with C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

*Experience building and supporting REST APIs

*Hands-on Azure application development experience

*Strong SQL Server or Azure SQL experience

*Enterprise application development experience

*Experience troubleshooting production issues in an Agile environment

*Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Experience with microservices architecture

• Experience with containerization technologies

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices

• Azure certification

• Experience with Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases

• Exposure to AI integrations, automation tools, or machine learning capabilities

• Experience with Svelte development
