Job description

This Network Engineer role provides the opportunity to join a leading organisation and play a key role in supporting the delivery and continual improvement of a complex, multi-site enterprise network environment.

Offering a salary of up to £68,500, hybrid working, and the opportunity to work on a major HPE Aruba network refresh programme, this role is ideal for an experienced Network Engineer looking to take ownership of critical infrastructure and technical improvements.

As a Network Engineer, you will support the reliability, performance, and security of the organisation's network estate, working closely with internal teams, vendors, and specialist security partners to deliver robust and effective solutions., * Support and maintain multi-site LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.

  • Diagnose and resolve network incidents, including root cause analysis and preventative improvements.
  • Deliver network changes, upgrades, and optimisation activities.
  • Support the delivery of network projects, including HPE Aruba refresh activities.
  • Maintain network standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Monitor network performance, capacity, and resilience to identify risks and improvements.
  • Work with vendors and security teams to review and implement secure network solutions.

Requirements

To be considered for this Network Engineer role, candidates should have strong experience supporting enterprise network environments, with hands-on knowledge of Aruba switching, wireless technologies, ClearPass NAC, routing, switching, VPNs, and network security.

Experience working within ITIL change environments, supporting multi-site infrastructure, and engaging with technical stakeholders is essential. Desirable experience includes SD-WAN, Azure networking, network automation, and exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments.
