Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Applications Developer to design, develop and support business-critical software solutions. The role requires strong expertise in detailed solution design and development using multiple complex programming languages or toolsets, for example MuleSoft.

You will work across the full software development life cycle, developing new applications, enhancing existing and Legacy systems, resolving defects and deploying solutions through formal change-control processes. You will also produce technical documentation, review solution designs and data flows, collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, and mentor junior developers through technical guidance and peer code reviews.

Requirements

  • Delivering complex software solutions from design through to implementation and ongoing support
  • Strong Microsoft development skills, including .NET, C#, SQL Server, Visual Studio, XML, XSLT and web services
  • Relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
  • Unit and system testing, defect resolution and controlled deployment
  • Agile, Lean or similar development methodologies
  • Explaining complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Mentoring developers and promoting good development practices

Salesforce administration experience would be desirable.
