Job description

  • Build and maintain features across the stack, with a focus on backend logic and APIs
  • Work closely with senior engineers to turn requirements into shipped features
  • Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and backend services
  • Help keep applications performant, secure, and accessible
  • Take part in code reviews as part of a collaborative team

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of professional software development experience
  • Solid experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
  • Comfortable working across the full stack with a backend leaning
  • Experience building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Understanding of SSR/SSG
  • SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
  • Some cloud exposure, preferably AWS, and Docker
  • Solid grasp of web fundamentals including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
  • Nice to have: Go or C# backend experience, microservices, Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, OAuth/JWT/SSO
