Job description
- Provide 1st Line support for Windows desktops, laptops, hardware and software
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and Microsoft 365 issues
- Support Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licences, permissions and applications
- Diagnose and resolve desktop, networking and connectivity issues
- Escalate technical issues where required
- Manage and update support tickets through the Helpdesk system
- Create and maintain user and system documentation
- Provide remote support and occasional customer site visits when required

We are an established and expanding Managed Service Provider based in Camberley, Surrey, supporting SMEs across the UK and known for delivering first-class IT support and solutions. This role offers a salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience, hybrid working with two days in the office, free onsite parking, private medical healthcare, ongoing training and career development, and a Monday to Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Requirements
- Around 1 years experience in a 1st Line Support, IT Support, Helpdesk or Service Desk role
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop operating systems
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
- Understanding of basic networking principles, including TCP/IP and DNS
- Knowledge of Active Directory, user accounts and permissions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple support tickets
- A logical approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Microsoft Server knowledge is desirable
- SharePoint experience is desirable
- Antivirus and backup software knowledge is desirable
- Printer troubleshooting experience is desirable
- Previous experience working within an MSP environment is desirable
