Job description
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Android Developer in Wilmington, DE.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production mobile apps
- Deep, demonstrated Kotlin and Android SDK expertise
- Production experience with Jetpack Compose
- Strong grasp of Coroutines/Flow and modern Android architecture
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for Android
- Apps shipped to the Google Play Store at meaningful scale
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modularized Gradle builds and multi-team codebases
- Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) experience
- Performance optimization with Baseline Profiles and Macrobenchmark
- Dependency injection experience (Hilt/Dagger)
- Experience in a regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, insurance) where compliance and auditability are engineering constraints, not afterthoughts
- Contributions to internal tooling, shared libraries, or design systems that other teams adopted

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
