Job description

Serve as a hands-on engineer responsible for design, implementation, testing, and delivery

Build AI-powered capabilities that support research, summarization, discovery, and knowledge-based decision making

Architect distributed machine learning services that can perform reliably across a large enterprise product ecosystem

Develop and connect retrieval pipelines, model services, agent frameworks, and supporting APIs

Partner with application, platform, data, and security teams to ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, resilience, privacy, and scale

Requirements

Proven success delivering machine learning or artificial intelligence systems in production environments

Practical experience designing applications that use LLMs, AI agents, and tool-driven workflows

Knowledge of RAG patterns, embedding models, vector stores, and relevance-focused retrieval techniques

Familiarity with operational ML practices such as testing, deployment automation, observability, and model governance

Strong Python development skills and sound software engineering fundamentals

Experience building cloud-native solutions with AWS and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes

Preferred Background

Exposure to legal technology, enterprise search, publishing, compliance, or another information-dense product domain

At least 12 years of software development experience, or 8+ years of development experience together with a PhD

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or a closely related field, Candidates must be authorized to work full-time in the United States both now and in the future.
