Job description
Akkodis is seeking a Network Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bonita Springs, FL. The ideal candidate with experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity across complex business environments., * Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure solutions, including routing, switching, network security, VPNs, and connectivity services.
- Lead network architecture, system design, technology upgrades, and infrastructure improvement initiatives to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, hardware, and software issues while providing advanced technical support for enterprise environments.
- Develop and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and secure remote access solutions.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, managed service providers, and internal infrastructure teams to deliver network projects and operational excellence.
- Create and maintain network documentation, standards, topology diagrams, project plans, and performance reports while providing technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Network Engineering, Network Architecture, Infrastructure Operations, or related networking roles.
- Strong expertise in enterprise network design, routing and switching, network security, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and complex network troubleshooting.

Benefits & conditions
Rate Range: $48/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors., Pay Details: $48.00 to $53.00 per hour
