Network Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Network Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bonita Springs, FL. The ideal candidate with experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity across complex business environments., * Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure solutions, including routing, switching, network security, VPNs, and connectivity services.

• Lead network architecture, system design, technology upgrades, and infrastructure improvement initiatives to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, hardware, and software issues while providing advanced technical support for enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and secure remote access solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, managed service providers, and internal infrastructure teams to deliver network projects and operational excellence.
• Create and maintain network documentation, standards, topology diagrams, project plans, and performance reports while providing technical leadership and mentoring to team members.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Network Engineering, Network Architecture, Infrastructure Operations, or related networking roles.
• Strong expertise in enterprise network design, routing and switching, network security, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and complex network troubleshooting.
• Proven experience leading network infrastructure projects, developing network architecture solutions, managing vendor relationships, and supporting large-scale enterprise network environments with high availability and security requirements., Computer Science, Documentation Standards, Firewalls, High Availability, Identify Issues, Information Technology & Information Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP), Intrusion Prevention Systems, Leadership, Mentoring, Network Administration/Management, Network Architecture/Engineering, Network Design, Network Routing, Network Security, Network Support, Network Switching, Network System Hardware, Performance Analysis, Project Planning, Remote Access, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Technical Leadership, Technical Support, Telecommunications, Topology, VPN (Virtual Private Network), Vendor/Supplier Relations

Rate Range: $48/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors., Pay Details: $48.00 to $53.00 per hour
