Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of IEHP's middleware to enable secure, scalable integration across systems. You will guide strategic middleware initiatives, including roadmap and architecture design, while ensuring security and regulatory compliance. You will manage complex deployments, incident resolution, and continuous improvement to boost operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production releases with Application Development. This is a mission-driven opportunity to strengthen middleware capabilities at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Design, implement, and maintain middleware applications (e.g., Nginx, IIS, Kafka, Kubernetes) to enable cross-system integration * Lead middleware initiatives including roadmap development and architecture design * Optimize performance and ensure security/regulatory compliance across environments * Oversee complex deployments and production releases with Application Development teams * Manage incident resolution, capacity planning, and continuous improvement efforts * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing solutions * Guide junior staff and influence architectural decisions Tasks * 8+ years in middleware environments (Kafka, IIS, Tomcat, WebSphere) with performance tuning in clustered setups * Container orchestration and automation, with Kubernetes and Helm focus * Scripting and troubleshooting on Linux/Unix (RHEL/Solaris) * Bachelor's degree in a Computer Systems-related field or similar technical field * Unix Shell Scripting (Korn, Bourne), WLST and Python scripting * Understanding of JVM operation and performance tuning (Garbage Collection, tuning) * DevOps toolsets (e.g., Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker) desirable * Azure or other cloud technologies * Strong planning, communication, and analytical skills * Root cause analysis and rapid service interruption resolution Key requirements * Competitive salary * On-site fitness center * Medical Insurance with Dental and Vision * Life, short-term, and long-term disability options * Career advancement opportunities and professional development * Wellness programs and flexible spending accounts
