Job description

We are seeking an experienced REDCap Application Administrator / Application Support Specialist to support and maintain an enterprise REDCap environment hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate will provide application administration, operational support, troubleshooting, upgrades, integrations, and user support while ensuring a secure, reliable, and highly available platform. This role requires collaboration with infrastructure, security, database, and business teams to support mission-critical applications., * Administer, configure, and support the REDCap application in an AWS environment.

  • Provide day-to-day application support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user assistance.
  • Coordinate software updates, patches, and version upgrades.
  • Install, configure, and maintain REDCap External Modules.
  • Develop and support REDCap API integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Manage and troubleshoot MySQL databases, SQL queries, and data validation.
  • Support PHP applications and microservices in Linux/AWS environments using Apache or Nginx.
  • Configure and maintain OIDC, SAML, Active Directory, LDAP, SSL/TLS certificates, and authentication services.
  • Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, database, networking, and security teams.
  • Monitor application health, performance, backups, disaster recovery, and system availability.
  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in change management, release management, and production support.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications hosted on AWS.
  • 5+ years of MySQL database administration and management.
  • 5+ years of PHP application support and Microservices development.
  • 5+ years of OIDC/SAML authentication integration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience coordinating software upgrades, patches, and vendor support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience., * Experience supporting enterprise web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, and Security Groups.
  • Experience with REDCap administration and API integrations.
  • Experience with Apache or Nginx web servers.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting REST APIs.
  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, and Identity & Access Management.
  • Knowledge of SSL/TLS certificate management and HIPAA compliance.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other enterprise ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation.
  • Experience with Python scripting, SSIS, SQL Server Agent, or Twilio is a plus.
  • AWS Cloud certifications are highly desirable., * REDCap Administration
