Job description

Client is seeking an experienced Java + AWS Full Stack Developer to join our growing digital engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based enterprise application development, cloud-native solutions on AWS, microservices architecture, and modern DevOps practices. Experience in healthcare, insurance, or financial services is a plus.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Java application development

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA

  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices

  • Hands-on AWS experience with services such as:

  • EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda

  • S3, RDS, DynamoDB

  • API Gateway

  • IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation/Terraform

  • SNS/SQS

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

  • CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline

  • SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB)

  • Strong Git version control experience

  • Agile/Scrum development methodology

Preferred Skills

  • React or Angular frontend development

  • Kafka or other messaging platforms

  • Terraform or Infrastructure as Code

  • AWS Certifications (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect)

  • Healthcare or Insurance domain experience

  • Exposure to Databricks or Snowflake is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java microservices on AWS

  • Build secure REST APIs and cloud-native applications
