Job description
This is a senior technical role responsible for leading Back End application development initiatives and driving architectural decisions for robust, scalable, and high-performance Server Side systems. This role provides hands-on leadership in building enterprise-grade Java Back End solutions, guiding development teams, and influencing technical strategy and best practices., * Lead design, development, and implementation of complex Back End applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

Own end-to-end delivery of Back End components, from architectural design and coding to deployment and operational support.

Drive architectural decisions for Back End systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.

Resolve high-impact technical challenges related to Back End performance, data integrity, and distributed system interactions.

Mentor junior and mid-level Back End developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.

Partner with stakeholders to define system enhancements, integrate with other systems, and implement strategic Back End solutions.

Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and scalability of Back End applications through rigorous testing and review processes.

Lead the implementation of advanced testing strategies, code reviews, and automated deployment pipelines for Back End services.

Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements for Server Side operations.
Requirements

7-10+ years of experience in Java Back End application development.

Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Java, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Oracle, Unix, junit, Shell Scripting, git

Strong experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs, data modelling with SQL and NoSQL databases, and distributed systems patterns.

Proficiency with message brokers (eg, Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP), and advanced DevOps practices.

Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, define architectural patterns, and mentor Back End development teams.

Strong understanding of Back End security best practices, performance tuning, and monitoring.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Education. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
