Interaction Designer /UI Engineer

• We're looking for someone who works at the intersection of design and engineering to shape how our digital experiences are built. In this role you'll own significant aspects of our customer-facing platforms and raise the bar for execution. This is not a handoff role, we're looking for someone who cares deeply about the gap between what gets designed and what ships, and can close it.
• You'll work as a peer to designers, engineers, and content teams, translating experience vision into polished interfaces.
• Design and build high-quality experiences with a systems approach.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system: developing reusable components and documentation.
• Translate experience specifications, content and creative direction into polished UI and working code.
• Work with Figma or emerging AI design tooling to design, spec, and prototype.
• Integrate and manage content through Sitecore (headless CMS), supporting real-world publishing needs.
• Participate in design critiques.
• Partner with engineers on implementation.

Education/Experience Required: 5 years of experience in Consumer grade web experience, * 5 years of experience in Consumer grade web experience

• Experience with front end frameworks preferred
• Experience with CMS preferred

Design:

• Proficient with Figma, creating and scaling design systems
• Experience with emerging AI design tooling and workflows
• Motion design & animation
• Strong visual & interaction sensibility
• Data viz design
• 5+ years hybrid design/frontend experience working on B2C products

Engineering:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (or modern frontend framework)
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms
• D3.js, Recharts, or similar (data viz)
• Component-based architecture
• WCAG accessibility standards
• Design tokens & design system tooling
• Storybook or similar component documentation
