SAP Aerospace & Defense (A&D) / GovCon Billing Subject Matter Expert

• CLIN/ACRN Redesign: Lead and support the design, configuration, and optimization of complex federal contract structures within SAP, including CLIN/WBS mapping, SLINs, ACRNs, funded/unfunded values, and ceiling controls.
• System Configuration: Hands-on testing and configuration of specialized billing capabilities to meet rigid compliance and reporting requirements.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Manage the seamless flow of sales orders, contracts, pricing, and billing documents within SAP SD/OTC, ensuring airtight integration with FI-AR and revenue accounting.
• Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure all billing designs support strict audit traceability from source transaction to billed cost, maintaining compliance with FAR Part 31 cost allowability.

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Billing Subject Matter Expert with deep expertise in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) and Government Contracting (GovCon) sectors. This is a critical surge support role focused on a major CLIN/ACRN redesign initiative. The ideal candidate will possess a sophisticated understanding of federal contract billing structures and hands-on experience with specialized SAP add-on billing engines., * GovCon & A&D Billing Mastery: Deep knowledge of federal contract billing models (Cost-Reimbursable, CPFF, CPAF, T&M, Fixed Price, IDIQ, Progress Payments, Milestones, and Retentions).

• Specialized Billing Engines: Direct, hands-on experience configuring and testing either Dassian or Cognitus billing capabilities (provisional rates, allocated billing structures, government-compliant rules).
• SAP SD / OTC: Advanced knowledge of S/4HANA Sales and Distribution, including output management, billing plans, and credit/debit processing.
• Cost-Based Accounting: Clear understanding of how direct labor, materials, ODCs, indirect allocations, and burden flow into billable amounts, including unallowable cost segregation., * Experience: Minimum 8 years of SAP experience required (10-15 years preferred). Certifications are a plus but not required.
