Data Scientist

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and productionize analytical and ML models to power market sizing, forecasting, and opportunity identification for an AI-driven aviation market intelligence platform. You'll partner with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure models are accurate, explainable, and embedded into real workflows. You'll operate in data-rich, ambiguous contexts to drive measurable business impact and scale ML capabilities. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and own scalable ML/analytic models for market sizing, forecasting, and optimization use cases * Translate business problems into structured modeling approaches with feature engineering and evaluation frameworks * Design experiments and statistical tests to assess model quality and impact * Deploy models into production alongside data engineering and backend teams for reliability and performance * Work with large, imperfect datasets; define data requirements and build preprocessing pipelines * Ensure model outputs are explainable and aligned with business logic for user trust * Monitor and retrain models; manage versioning and feedback loops * Collaborate with product teams to define analytical features and embed insights into workflows Tasks * Strong foundation in statistics, ML, and predictive modeling (regression, classification, clustering, time series, AB testing) * Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with scikit-learn, pandas, numpy * Experience building end-to-end ML workflows (preprocessing, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring) * Familiarity with production ML practices: versioning, performance optimization, drift monitoring * Experience with large-scale/complex datasets and data quality issues * Ability to communicate model logic and outputs to non-technical stakeholders * Experience collaborating with product managers, data engineers, and software engineers * 3-5+ years in data science/ML roles in product/business settings * Experience developing and deploying predictive models that drive business decisions * Experience with analytics or ML-driven products such as forecasting, optimization, or market intelligence Key requirements * Competitive salary and bonus * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits * 401(k) with company match * Generous paid time off * Professional development and career advancement opportunities
