Job description

  • The Solution Architect for Marketing Technology will serve as the primary technical authority for Project partnering with the system integrator, the Sitecore AI platform team, Marketing stakeholders, and IT, engineering to define architecture, govern integrations, and ensure the platform delivers on its business transformation goals.
  • This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role operating in a complex multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environment with an active go-live timeline.

Responsibilities : Platform Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the Sitecore AI re-platform, including content management, digital asset management, AI search, personalization, and SSO/auth frameworks.
  • Define and enforce integration patterns between Sitecore AI and connected systems: Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sprinklr (migration), Box (DAM consolidation), AWS/Azure hosting, Covero (search) and Vercel.
  • Lead SSO and cascading authentication architecture across Sitecore AI sub-applications (Stream, Hub, Marketplace).
  • Design multi tenant, multi-locale content architecture supporting phased US and international rollout across 60+ country sites.
  • Evaluate and govern page template architecture (multiple template types) to balance global standardization with local market customization.

Delivery & Vendor Governance

  • Serve as D&T's primary technical counterpart to the system integrator, holding them accountable to architecture standards, timeline commitments, and technical requirements.
  • Participate in and help drive program Steering Committee cadence with cross-functional leadership including Marketing, D&T, platform, and SI stakeholders.
  • Support finalization of RACI across D&T, Marketing, regional stakeholders, and vendor partners.
  • Drive workshop delivery and ensure architecture decisions are captured and socialized.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure architecture decisions are heading towards long-term strategies
  • Track and mitigate integration risks across a complex dependency landscape with multiple vendor partners and evolving edge case requirements.

Data, AI & Personalization

  • Architect the data and AI layer within Sitecore AI to enable intelligent search, client personalization, and connected marketing-to-sales data flows.
  • Collaborate with the D&T Data/EDP team on connecting marketing platform data to Snowflake for SOP/KPI measurement, a prerequisite for ROI tracking currently excluded from the business case financials.
  • Define the technical approach for migrating Global Research content off Sprinklr onto the Sitecore AI platform, enabling significant license cost elimination.
  • Support Digital Asset Management consolidation - moving DAM storage to Sitecore AI Cloud to retire legacy storage systems and reduce operational costs.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Translate business requirements from Marketing leadership and APAC/EMEA regional stakeholders into technical specifications and architecture decisions.
  • Contribute to services structure definition and align D&T's technical services model with delivery partners.

Sitecore & CMS

  • Deep Sitecore XM Cloud or Sitecore AI platform experience -architecture, content modeling, component design, and deployment.
  • Experience with Sitecore's composable DXP stack: Content Hub, Search, Personalize, Send, and CDP.
  • Multi-locale, multi-site Sitecore architecture for global enterprise deployments (country-level localization, language fallback, governance).
  • Page template design, headless CMS architecture, and Vercel/Next.js rendering integration.

Integrations & Identity

  • SSO and federated identity architecture: OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC -particularly cascading auth across enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud integration with CMS platforms -lead generation flows, personalization data feeds.
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM) architecture and migration - Box, Sitecore Content Hub, or equivalent.
  • REST/GraphQL API design; experience integrating with Sprinklr, CDP platforms, or marketing automation tools a plus.

Cloud & Infrastructure

  • AWS and/or Azure: hosting architecture, CDN, DNS, SSL management for large-scale public web properties.
  • Vercel deployment architecture for headless Sitecore or Next.js-based frontends.
  • CI/CD pipelines for CMS deployments; environment management (dev/staging/prod) across global web properties.

Data & Analytics

  • Web analytics platform expertise: GA4, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent; tagging architecture and data layer design.
  • Marketing data flows: connecting CMS/web events to CRM, marketing automation, and BI/data warehouse platforms.
  • Familiarity with KPI framework design for digital marketing (traffic, lead generation, SOP impact measurement).

Requirements

Education/Experience Required: 12+ years in solution architecture, with at least 4 years focused on enterprise CMS/DXP platforms (Sitecore strongly preferred)., * 12+ years in solution architecture, with at least 4 years focused on enterprise CMS/DXP platforms (Sitecore strongly preferred).

  • Proven delivery experience on large-scale CMS re-platform or migration programs involving multiple SI and vendor partners.
  • Experience working in a global enterprise context with multi-country, multi-language web deployments.
  • Track record of managing complex integration landscapes (CRM, DAM, identity, analytics, CDN) in a CMS context.
  • Comfort operating in matrixed, multi-stakeholder delivery environments with active governance structures.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • Sitecore certifications (XM Cloud, Content Hub, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

Leadership & Communication

  • Able to serve as the technical voice in executive-level steering committee meetings and cross-functional governance forums.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical architecture into business-readable documentation.
  • Experience working with offshore and nearshore SI partners -holding partners accountable to architecture standards and delivery commitments.

Preferred Experience

  • Direct Sitecore AI (formerly Sitecore XM Cloud) experience on a production deployment.
  • Experience with Sprinklr migration or replacement programs.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate, financial services, or professional services digital ecosystems.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud account engagement (Pardot) or similar MAP integration with CMS.
  • Experience with content authoring governance design and workflow automation for large, distributed marketing teams.
