Job description
Architect API-led integrations between Salesforce, legacy platforms, databases, and external systems.
- Define standards for API gateways, data transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and error handling.
- Establish and enforce architecture governance; review designs for risks, dependencies, and scalability.
- Support production environments, including stability, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical standards, and implementation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
- Document technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of recent experience administering cloud environments and Salesforce applications.

At least 3 years designing Salesforce architecture for large-scale (5M+ records) environments.

At least 3 years designing MuleSoft integration architecture using API-led connectivity.

Minimum 4 years in an Architect or Technical Lead role overseeing Salesforce data models, security, integrations, and architecture governance.

Minimum 2 years supporting large-scale Salesforce and MuleSoft production environments.

Experience with Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, MuleSoft Runtime Manager, or similar tools.

Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in state/local government or public-sector environments.

Salesforce or MuleSoft certifications.
