Job description

Architect API-led integrations between Salesforce, legacy platforms, databases, and external systems.

  • Define standards for API gateways, data transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and error handling.
  • Establish and enforce architecture governance; review designs for risks, dependencies, and scalability.
  • Support production environments, including stability, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Create architecture diagrams, technical standards, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Document technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of recent experience administering cloud environments and Salesforce applications.

  • At least 3 years designing Salesforce architecture for large-scale (5M+ records) environments.

  • At least 3 years designing MuleSoft integration architecture using API-led connectivity.

  • Minimum 4 years in an Architect or Technical Lead role overseeing Salesforce data models, security, integrations, and architecture governance.

  • Minimum 2 years supporting large-scale Salesforce and MuleSoft production environments.

  • Experience with Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, MuleSoft Runtime Manager, or similar tools.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in state/local government or public-sector environments.

  • Salesforce or MuleSoft certifications.

  • Experience with legacy systems, mainframe integrations, cloud platforms, API security, CI/CD, and DevSecOps. Engagement Details
