Manager, Senior Application Specialist - IT Banking Support

Experteer Overview As a Senior Application Specialist Manager, you will serve as a domain expert for critical banking applications, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation and guiding change, testing, and releases. You'll collaborate with business teams, IT, and vendors to map requirements, manage conversions, and implement new functionality. You'll lead process improvements and mentor teams while aligning with Wintrust's technology roadmap. This role offers impact across core systems in a growth-oriented, inclusive banking environment. Compensation / Benefits * Handle day-to-day workflow and provide Level 2 support for complex issues * Lead/support projects including data mapping, translation tables, conversion balancing, and new system implementations * Support line-of-business process improvement and efficiency initiatives * System tuning and optimization * Support change management and product/project implementations * Provide leadership, mentoring and training, and develop best-practice processes * Own technical applications by evaluating new releases and monitoring roadmaps * Collaborate with Business, Technology, vendors, and consultants on interdependencies and deployments Tasks * 7-10 years of relevant experience in applications implementation, testing, maintenance, configuration, releases, upgrades, new products, and documentation of results * Ability to analyze and apply rapidly changing technologies to business requirements * Ability to work under strict deadlines and time pressure * Advanced experience with FIS core banking and CLS/ACBS (plus) * Experience with lending solutions such as nCino, Moody's Credit Lens, Dealer Portal/Shaw, Laser Pro, Factor Soft * International Services systems such as CIBAR * APIs and microservices technologies * Salesforce * ServiceNow * VBScript or other scripting languages * Previous supervisory leadership experience within the past 5 years (preferred) Key requirements * Medical Insurance * Dental * Vision * Life insurance * 401(k) with company match * Tuition reimbursement
