QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong Selenium automation expertise and Point of Sale (POS) testing experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating POS devices and connected hardware through a combination of manual and automation testing. This role focuses on device testing (phones, tablets, POS terminals, handheld devices, etc.) rather than application testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Selenium automation scripts for device validation and regression testing.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of POS devices and connected hardware.

Validate device functionality across Android and iOS devices, including smartphones, iPhones, iPads, tablets, handheld scanners, and POS terminals.

Test device features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, camera, barcode scanner, audio, and peripherals.

Verify firmware updates, software upgrades, device configurations, and hardware compatibility.

Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Maintain automation frameworks and execute test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.

Strong experience in QA Automation using Selenium.

Hands-on experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and device testing.

Experience testing Android and iOS devices, handheld terminals, or other connected hardware.

Familiarity with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, LTE/5G, and OTA updates.

Experience with Jenkins or Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of Git and SQL.
