As an Azure Cloud Security Engineer, you will:
-
Maintain and enhance the security posture of Azure cloud environments by identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities.
-
Design, implement, and manage security controls, access policies, and threat protection mechanisms across cloud infrastructure, applications, databases, and networks.

Configure cloud security solutions using defense-in-depth principles, including identity, network, and data protection.

Monitor cloud environments, investigate security incidents, and respond to escalated threats using Azure security and monitoring tools.

Automate security controls and operational processes using Security-as-Code, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.

Support secure cloud adoption by implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Create and maintain security documentation, operational procedures, and technical guidelines., * Automate security processes through scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor cloud environments, investigate security incidents, and respond to emerging threats.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into development and deployment processes.

Ensure compliance with cloud security standards while continuously improving the organization's security posture.

Requirements
-
Strong experience securing Microsoft Azure cloud environments and implementing enterprise cloud security solutions.
-
Hands-on expertise with Azure Active Directory, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud (Azure Security Center).

In-depth knowledge of Azure networking, including Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, DNS, routing, and load balancing.

Experience with security automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), scripting, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, or Buildkite.

Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management, data protection, compliance, and threat detection.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills within DevOps and cloud security environments.
You should possess the ability to:

Design and implement secure cloud architectures and security controls for Azure environments.

Configure identity, network, application, and data security using Azure-native services.
