Job description

Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you'll help deliver scalable data solutions while supporting wider Microsoft 365 initiatives, including SharePoint and Copilot., * Design, develop and enhance Azure-based data warehouse solutions using modern cloud technologies.

  • Build, maintain and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
  • Develop scalable data models, including dimensional and star schema designs.
  • Optimise SQL queries and warehouse performance while maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity.
  • Create and maintain insightful Power BI dashboards and reports that support business decision-making.
  • Develop automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
  • Integrate data with SharePoint Online, supporting document management, reporting and business collaboration.
  • Support the adoption of Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, enabling AI-driven productivity through well-structured, secure and accessible data.
  • Work closely with BI developers, analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
  • Follow best practices around security, governance, monitoring and performance across the Azure data estate.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering Azure data warehouse and analytics solutions.
  • Strong SQL and T-SQL development skills, including query optimisation and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory and the wider Azure data platform.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, dimensional design and ETL/ELT development.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Experience building workflows and automations using Power Automate.
  • Good knowledge of SharePoint Online, including integrating data, lists and document libraries with reporting solutions.
  • Experience supporting or delivering solutions involving Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio or AI-enabled Microsoft 365 capabilities would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
