My Surrey base client are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to assist their Cloud Services team for an initial 6 month contract. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work from their offices based in Leatherhead, Surrey 2 days per week. There may also be occasional travel to other sites., * Investigate and resolve 3rd line support issues, working closely with suppliers when required.
- Maintain and support the IT Infrastructure in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Support change delivery utilising an ITIL service management framework
Requirements
This role will suit an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who has exposure working in large scale enterprise environments (5000+ users) that heavily utilise cloud services. Our ideal candidate will have strong experience in build, deploy and support of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Office, Azure, Intune & Defender). Your time will be split 70:30 in favour of project work.
Although a little unorthodox, we really want someone who is able to think outside of the box, and not someone who accepts status quo, when resolving/troubleshooting. This does not have to relate to large scale server issues and can be a much smaller issue where you have taking the time to delve deeper into a problem to create a better result.

- Knowledge of IT Security and compliance policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of automation is beneficial using tools such as Copilot and PowerShell.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Lead role in managing suppliers and ensuring that we get the best value and performance with them.
- Ability to listen, question and explain non-technical information so it is understood.
- Ensure that all work is delivered to a high standard with relevant documentation and communication.
- Have a desire to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
