Experteer Overview In this role you drive data engineering initiatives within a top-tier consulting practice, delivering large-scale Databricks-based solutions and cloud migrations. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data architectures that support analytics, AI/ML, and reporting, translating business needs into technical outcomes. You'll articulate the value of cloud modernization to diverse stakeholders and help clients realize tangible improvements through data-driven insights. This opportunity combines technical depth with client impact at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Lead a small workstream implementing large-scale data solutions on Databricks (Delta Lake, reporting/analytics, AI/ML) * Support design and development of data architectures to back client solutions with cloud data warehouse migrations * Capture and translate business/technical requirements; perform hypothesis-driven consulting; manage projects and client relationships * Translate complex data and analytics problems into actionable technical approaches; create insightful visualizations, reports, and presentations * Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Databricks ecosystem and communicate the value of cloud modernization to stakeholders Tasks * 3 years in cloud data lake/warehouse roles (architect, designer, developer, data scientist, or AI/ML engineer) * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or related field * Experience leading cloud modernization, data migrations, and data warehousing on Databricks; experience leading workshops with clients * Hands-on knowledge of data security, messaging patterns, ELT, data wrangling, cloud computing; proficiency in data integration/EAI and DB technologies; experience with SQL and Apache Spark * Experience designing solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and communicating with technical and business audiences * Strong verbal/written communication; ability to lead teams and manage client-facing activities * Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship; willingness to travel Key requirements * comprehensive compensation and benefits package * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * 401(k) plans * well-being benefits * paid time off
