Experteer Overview You will build and launch AI-first products in a hands-on, fast-moving startup. In NYC, you'll work closely with founders to turn ideas into production-ready applications, spanning frontend, backend, infrastructure, and AI systems. You'll own features end-to-end, tackle scale and reliability, and shape the technical foundation of the company. This role blends product ownership with technical leadership to deliver impactful, AI-powered experiences. Compensation / Benefits * Build, test, and launch full-stack products from zero to one * Develop frontend apps using React, Next.js, or similar * Create backend services, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations * Implement AI-powered features with large language models and multimodal AI * Build AI agents capable of tool use, workflows, and external interactions * Develop retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and vector search * Integrate voice AI and real-time conversational systems * Implement structured outputs, model routing, and human approval workflows * Establish evaluation, monitoring, and testing for AI performance * Improve reliability, scalability, security, latency, and AI inference costs * Collaborate with founders, users, and product stakeholders * Help make architecture and technology decisions * Maintain high engineering standards while moving quickly Tasks * 4+ years of professional software engineering experience * Proven track record of shipping a product from zero to one * Experience at an early-stage startup * Strong frontend and backend development skills * Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Next.js * Backend experience with Node.js, Python, FastAPI, Go, or similar * Experience with PostgreSQL, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and production deployments * Hands-on experience integrating large language models into production * Experience with AI agents, RAG, tool calling, embeddings, multimodal AI, or voice AI * Strong product judgment and ability to work with limited direction * Ability to move quickly while maintaining high engineering standards * Must be actively hands-on and writing production code Key requirements *
