Experteer Overview In this role you drive the engineering and integration of space protection capabilities as a SETA advisor. You will guide architectural decisions, oversee end-to-end system life cycle, and support mission-critical operations for space systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and government partners to streamline delivery and standardize integration. This position offers impact across acquisition programs and ongoing space domain operations, enabling robust protection of space assets. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as Technical Advisor to influence operations across engineering, operations, and assurance areas and future mission design decisions for systems in acquisition. * Oversee integration and testing of space protection functions in delivered systems; analyze schedules and capability delivery against operational needs. * Assist in developing systems architectures and requirements; oversee integration of mission protection systems and mission IT to support operations. * Provide end-to-end system engineering across the program life cycle; support requirements development, interface control, technical specification reviews, architecture and CONOPS development. * Help develop standards, tools, and procedures for project use including risk, issue, opportunity, change, and information management. * Analyze options for government customers, communicating risks, impacts, and improvement opportunities to managers and contractors. * Review documentation, draft briefs, and represent the government in forums to facilitate streamlined delivery of new capabilities and standardized integration. Tasks * US Citizen * Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph * Bachelor's Degree in STEM or relevant field with 3+ years experience, or Master's Degree in STEM or relevant field with 1+ year experience * Knowledge of satellite constellations, spacecraft orbit, and ground station characteristics * Full program lifecycle experience from concept to deployment and maintenance * Experience with requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, architecture and CONOPS development * Familiarity with NRO missions, systems engineering processes * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables; works independently and with teams; strong briefing and communication skills * Ability to engage with contractor, SETA, FFRDC, and Government teammates; self-starter who can define solutions with minimal guidance * Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and judgment * Ability to drive collaboration and coordinate with multiple stakeholders Key requirements *
