Senior Product Owner - Transaction Posting System

Experteer Overview As Senior Product Owner, Transaction Posting System, you will bridge business needs with engineering in a fast-moving, multi-team environment. You drive agile delivery across the posting of trading activity, shaping requirements and prioritization for an AI-driven development lifecycle. You will own the backlog, write clear stories, lead UAT, and ensure timely, high-quality production releases. This role sits in TAPSS and collaborates closely with cross-functional partners to transform trading post-processing at Schwab. Compensation / Benefits * Own and groom the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized and ready for engineering for multiple sprints * Write well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and definition of done for engineering execution * Collaborate daily with engineering, QA, architecture, and SRE across sprint ceremonies and release readiness * Make scope decisions and clarify requirements in real time to unblock the team * Lead and coordinate UAT, including planning, test design, defect triage, and sign-off * Triage defects and production issues, coordinating fixes against roadmap work * Translate trading, clearing, settlement, and posting flows into actionable requirements * Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate designs, and confirm outcomes * Coordinate across the broader product group to align dependencies and cross-team stories * Champion AI-enabled tooling (Copilot, Copilot for Microsoft 365) in the SDLC and validate outputs * Support adoption of AIDLC practices and embed AI tooling into development, testing, and support workflows * Maintain product documentation and knowledge artifacts as a single source of truth * Drive delivery discipline, remove ambiguity, escalate blockers, and uphold sprint commitments Tasks * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future * 6+ years in product ownership, business analysis, application development, or related tech delivery * Proven experience leading UAT cycles from planning to release readiness * Strong technical background with ability to engage in system design, APIs, data, and integrations * Domain knowledge of trading, brokerage operations, post-trade processing, or settlement * Track record of delivering stories from concept to production in large multi-team contexts * Strong story-writing, acceptance criteria discipline, backlog grooming, and sprint ownership * Experience partnering with engineering to triage and resolve defects and production issues * Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Rally or equivalent Agile tooling * Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Key requirements *
