Principal Software Engineer (UAV Embedded)

Experteer Overview In this role you architect and implement mission-critical UAV flight software in C++ for next-gen flight computers, bridging complex flight algorithms and custom avionics hardware. You collaborate with electrical and GNC engineers to design robust hardware-software interactions and ensure deterministic, reliable system performance. You will write and review software requirements, design and test plans, and document software per KUAS specs, while mentoring mid-level engineers. The role combines embedded software development with hardware collaboration, offering impact on UAV capability and system reliability.
