Sr. Platform Engineer - Cloud

Experteer Overview In this role you will help build a foundation for Cargill's modern business applications by applying cloud and infrastructure expertise to deliver secure, scalable platforms. You will support data and application teams, promoting best practices and infrastructure as code across data centers and cloud environments. You will also coach junior engineers, driving reliable dev-to-prod deployments and high-quality software. Compensation / Benefits * Design and develop high-quality software solutions * Lead deployment automation via CI/CD and 12-factor development * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into solutions * Write and maintain unit and integration tests; perform debugging * Suggest and implement process improvements for development and deployment * Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications and configurations * Provide technical support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime Tasks * Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (typically 5+ years) * Experience with AWS networking tools (Cloud WAN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway) * Experience with AWS cloud technologies (EC2, security groups, ASG, S3, IAM) * Experience managing Windows workloads in AWS * Experience with AWS as a cloud provider * Moderate experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Swarm, Docker) * Strong scripting/programming background (Terraform, Golang or Python, PowerShell) Key requirements * discretionary incentive award * comprehensive benefits program including medical * hybrid onsite presence at Wayzata, MN office * salary range $107,000-$155,000 * location-based differential adjustments * equal opportunity employer
