Experteer Overview In this Sr. Data Engineer role, you design and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms to enable faster, trusted decision-making across engineering, test labs, and product development. You will transform raw data into governance-ready data products and partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. The role focuses on data quality, reliability, and scalable cloud-based data architecture to support self-service analytics and operational visibility. You will work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, contributing to data-driven transformation and impact. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and data integration solutions supporting engineering and test operations * Build reliable ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, validate, and deliver data to analytics-ready environments * Collaborate with engineering, lab ops, IT, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate data needs into technical solutions * Establish and maintain data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring processes * Develop and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms for performance and scalability * Create reusable data assets, curated datasets, and documentation enabling self-service reporting and visibility * Collaborate with software developers and IT on secure data architecture, source control, deployment, and best practices * Translate business strategy into technical data solutions to improve efficiency and decision speed * Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve data reliability and observability * Mentor teams on data engineering standards, coding practices, documentation, and governance * Adhere to timelines in a fast-paced environment while balancing technical excellence with business impact Tasks * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related roles * Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one language (Python, C#, Java, or Scala) * Experience designing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, databases, and cloud platforms * Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments and data storage, compute, orchestration, and security concepts * Knowledge of data modeling, database design, data integration patterns, APIs, and scalable architecture * Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, Airflow, dbt, Fabric, or automated testing * Strong understanding of data quality, governance, security, documentation, and monitoring * Ability to map complex business processes to data solutions and create process maps * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with cross-functional influence Key requirements *
