Experteer Overview In this role you will lead system test activities to ensure software reliability for mission-critical space systems. You will collaborate with systems engineers to translate requirements into robust tests and software solutions. You drive test design, automation, and cloud-deployed service quality, supporting a cross-functional team of developers, DevOps, and systems engineers. This position offers exposure to advanced space mission planning components and a path to working with secure, multi-domain environments. Compensation / Benefits * Define test plans and cases with traceability to requirements and design * Verify reliability and error handling in asynchronous workflows * Collaborate with systems engineers to translate mission planning requirements into software solutions * Implement and maintain cloud-deployed services with monitoring and alerting * Participate in code reviews, test automation, and CI/CD integration * Troubleshoot issues across application, container, and cloud layers * Exhibit strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams Tasks * Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12+ years of software engineering experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience * Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with potential for Special Program Access * Hands-on experience testing containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) * Experience testing systems using Kafka or similar message bus * Experience with a test automation tool (e.g., TestComplete, JUnit, Mockito, pytest) * Experience building automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) * Strong scripting for test automation (Python, JavaScript) * Solid test design techniques (boundary analysis, equivalence classes, negative testing, performance/load) * Proficiency with source control/work tracking (Git, GitLab/GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira) Key requirements * Medical, Dental & Vision * 401k * Educational Assistance * Life Insurance * Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions * Paid Time Off
