Role based in Barcelona / 3 days at the office - 2 days at homeAs aCloudOpsEngineer,you'llplay a key role in the daily operations of our SaaS platform-supporting CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system reliability,optimizingcosts, and helping manage cloud resources across multiple AWS accounts.You'llbring practical DevOps skills, an operations-first mindset, and working experience withMongoDBto help us deliver a secure, reliable, and cost-efficient platform.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud OperationsSupport day-to-day AWS operations (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC).Perform lifecycle management tasks such as patching, scaling, and backups.Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations.CI/CD & AutomationOperate andmaintainCI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).Improve deployment reliability through automation and scripting.Support engineering teams in deploying services and environments.FinOps & Cost ManagementMonitor cloud usage and support cost-optimization initiatives.Assistinidentifyingopportunities for savings (e.g., right-sizing,computemigrations, storage tiering).Partner with senior engineers to report and track cost efficiency.Database & Data SupportOperate andmonitorMongoDB/ RDS Auroraclusters (performance, backups, scaling).Troubleshoot database issues in collaboration with senior engineers.Support integration of MongoDBand/or RDS Aurorawith application workloads.Observability & MonitoringConfigure monitoring and alerting withSplunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, andOpenTelemetry.Contribute to incident detection and response playbooks.Help define operational runbooks and dashboards.Security & ComplianceFollow IAM security practices and apply least-privilege policies.Support patching, logging, and compliance tasks (SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA).Work with security engineers tomaintainaudit readiness.Required Experience & Qualifications3-5+ years inCloudOps, DevOps, or SRE roles.Solid operational knowledge ofAWS(EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch).Hands-on experience withMongoDB/RDS Aurorain production environments.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar).Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Grafana,OpenTelemetry).Good communicationand teamwork skills.Operations-first: enjoys ensuring systems run smoothly and reliably.Detail-oriented: diligent in monitoring, troubleshooting, and documenting.Collaborative: works well with global teams and cross-functional partners.Growth mindset: eager to learnnew technologiesand grow into senior roles.Desired Experience & QualificationsKubernetes operations (Amazon EKS).AWS cost management tools and FinOps practices.Experience with other databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka).Exposure tohealthcare compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).JoinEvinovaand redefine healthcare with us.Apply now to be part of a teamthat'stransforming life sciences with technology, data, and innovation.Date Posted26-ene-****Closing Date28-feb-****AstraZeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity. Requirements
3-5+ years in CloudOps , DevOps, or SRE roles. Solid op erational knowledge of AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch). Hands-on experience with MongoDB/RDS Aurora in production environments. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation ( ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar).
