Experteer Overview In this Data Engineer role, you will help build and operate data pipelines within a modern Databricks + Snowflake + Azure Data Factory EDW ecosystem. You will monitor pipelines, resolve incidents, and implement reliability improvements in a collaborative, cross-regional setting. You'll work to optimize performance and data quality while applying agentic AI tools to accelerate root cause analysis. This role blends hands-on engineering with operational excellence to deliver robust data infrastructure. Compensation / Benefits * Build, enhance, and troubleshoot ADF pipelines, Snowflake ELT/ETL, and Databricks ELT/ETL * Monitor data batch cycles and respond to failures, latency, or data-quality issues * Diagnose and resolve production incidents within SLA targets using SQL, Python, logs, and runbooks * Perform root cause analysis and document findings with fixes to prevent recurrence * Drive operational improvements: automation, alert tuning, performance optimization, and reliability * Work within ITIL/ITSM workflows and communicate with technical and business stakeholders * Collaborate with regional teammates, maintaining clear handoffs and context * Apply agentic AI in E&O delivery using Snowflake Cortex and related tools to investigate incidents and automate tasks * Use agentic tools to support engineering judgment with evidence, context, and human approvals Tasks * 2-3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, or production support for data platforms * Strong SQL skills with debugging, performance awareness, and data validation * Strong Python skills for troubleshooting, scripting, and automation * Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks and Azure Data Factory * Comfort in a fast-paced, consulting-oriented environment with shifting priorities * Agentic-assisted engineering mindset and familiarity with AI-assisted workflows * Solid engineering fundamentals: Git, scripting, API/integration literacy, ability to trace issues across pipelines and logs Key requirements * Meaningful time off and paid holidays * 401(k) with match * Health, dental, & vision coverage options * Adoption and fertility assistance * Long-term disability * $350 wellness reimbursement annually
